FijiFirst General Secretary Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum

FijiFirst General Secretary, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has lashed out at Communications Fiji Limited and Fiji Times again, saying the FijiFirst is fighting the two media organizations.

While speaking in the party’s press conference, Sayed-Khaiyum says they do not expect the 2 organizations to do justice to what the party is saying.

Sayed-Khaiyum also lashed out while pointing out questions sent to him about a Radio NZ report that has the National Federation Party Leader accusing the FijiFirst Party of suppressing opposition parties with newly amended electoral laws ahead of the general elections.

While responding to questions raised on FijiFirst not referred to FICAC by the Supervisor of Elections in relation to the party’s banner on a non-designated area at the Suva Civic Carpark, Sayed-Khaiyum says it was already referred to FICAC by NFP and it is the prerogative of the Supervisor on how he acts on what he receives.

Communications Fiji Limited, the parent company of fijivillage, Legend FM, FM96, VitiFM, Navtarang and Radio Sargam, is independent.

We do not favour any political party or politician.
