Savea wins second gold for Rotuma High

Venasio Savea won the second gold medal for Rotuma High School after winning the senior boys discus.

Savea threw a distance of 44.15 metres.

Nicholas Miller of Marist Brothers High School won silver and John Jikoibau of Suva Grammar School collected bronze.

Savea says he did not think that he would win gold but he is thankful to the coaches for their support.

He is dedicating his gold medal win to his teammate who won silver in the 2021 Coca-Cola Games.
