Savea calls for clinical execution as All Blacks prepare for second Test against France

Savea calls for clinical execution as All Blacks prepare for second Test against France

Stand-in All Blacks captain Ardie Savea says his side needs to be more clinical and play in the right areas of the field when they take on France in their second Test at Sky Stadium this evening.

While speaking after a rain-soaked captain’s run in Wellington, Savea says France put them under pressure and they stayed with them, so they have got to be clinical in the right areas of the field and finish.

Savea says the team has learned that any team that the All Blacks play, they turn up, play their best footy and they saw this with the French last week.

The captain says for them, it doesn't matter who they play, they have just got to turn up because they know they are going to be great on the weekend.

As Caleb Clarke has been ruled out due to an injury during training, Savea says Emoni Narawa has stepped in and he is flawlessly doing his job.

He says when you are in the All Blacks, if someone goes down, you have to be ready to step up.

The All Blacks take on France at Sky Stadium in Wellington at 7.05 tonight.
