2019 Suva Zone 2 Senior Girls Blue Ribbon champion Fane Sauvakacolo of Suva Grammar School

Suva Grammar School and 2019 Suva Zone 2 Senior Girls Blue Ribbon champion, Fane Sauvakacolo will be one to look out for in this year’s Coca-Cola Games.

Suva Grammar Team Coach Jone Delai says that Sauvakacolo who clocked 12.67 seconds in the Zone meet is working hard in training and aims to equal her Coca-Cola Games time with the national record.

The National record was set by Younis Bese of Gospel High School with a time of 12.16 seconds in 2015.

Delai says that they hope to get more medals from their Intermediate and Senior Girls, and from their Junior and Intermediate Boys.

Suva Grammar has a squad of 45 girls and 40 boys and Delai says that making a comeback to top the games is a continuous work in progress.

Suva Grammar came finished in 5th place last year in the Boys Division while their girls finished in 4th place.

The Coca Cola Games will be held from the 16th to the 18th of this month.
