The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will not have the services of Eroni Sau this weekend when they meet Moana Pasifika in their first 2023 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific match.
Fijian Drua Coach Mick Byrne says Sau has just landed in the country and he will join the squad next week.
He says the 33-year-old will go through the same process as any of their newcomers.
The Drua will meet Moana Pasifika at 3.35pm Saturday.
In other matches, the Crusaders will face the Chiefs at 6.05pm Friday, the Waratahs will meet the Brumbies at 8.35pm Friday, the Highlanders will play the Blues at 6.05pm Saturday, the Reds will take on the Hurricanes at 8.35pm Saturday and the Western Force will meet the Rebels at 11pm Saturday.
