Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem

Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem has today told field trainers that they should not change any process just because there is a social media post questioning it.

He highlighted this during the opening of the training of trainers workshop for more than 83 field trainers.

Saneem says today is a very important day however there is still a lot of misinformation.

He says the 2018 general elections was one of the most successful elections in Fiji’s history and he is confident that they will achieve better in the next elections.

Saneem has urged the trainers to conduct their training based on the manual they will be given.

The 5 day training will be carried out in different parts of the country this week which is designed to equip field trainers who will be responsible to train officials that will be working for the Fijian Elections Office next year.

The Elections Office will be recruiting more than 11,000 officials for the next elections.

Saneem says the recruitment drive last week was a massive success and there is a drive going on in Nadi and Lautoka at the moment.
