The Samoan community in Fiji today gathered in numbers marching around Albert Park to show their support for their Toa Samoa team who will be facing the Australian Kangaroos the Rugby League World Cup final tomorrow morning.

Samoan High Commission Counselor Louis Lene says it's a milestone for their home team to reach the final.

Lene says this is a great opportunity for all Pacific Islanders to stand together and cheer for the men in blue this weekend.

The Toa Samoa will take on Australia at 4am Sunday.

Meanwhile, Australia will take on New Zealand in the women’s final at 1am.
