The Samabula Juvenile Centre today received $8,000 worth of items such as mattresses, pillows, blankets and cooking utensils from Inspire Pacific and Fiji Rotary Club.

Inspire Pacific volunteer, Steven Traill says they have a special program where they meet the juveniles every week to provide a safe space for them so that they can express themselves.

Traill says they want to provide the boys with hope that there is life outside of the Centre and their aim is to have an impact on the young men for them to succeed in life and contribute positively to society.

He adds they want to inspire the boys because sometimes they do not get the opportunity to do what is in their heart.
