The Divisional Manager for Community Policing West, Superintendent of Police (SP) Lepani Liga, has called on the Muaira Methodist College community in Lautoka to work closely with Police to ensure the safety of the children.

While speaking at the school's annual prize-giving ceremony, SP Liga stressed that everyone needs to work with the Fiji Police Force and understand that the safety and well-being of a child is a shared responsibility.

The head of the Western Community Policing Department highlighted that with the upcoming school break, parents and guardians can play a key role in helping keep each other’s children safe.

SP Liga assured that the Force will continue its duties throughout the school holidays to keep communities safe and uphold the law.
