SODELPA says no, never, to same sex marriage

SODELPA Leader, Viliame Gavoka

SODELPA states emphatically that it is totally opposed to same sex marriage.

SODELPA Leader, Viliame Gavoka says a SODELPA Government will not entertain any dialogue on the issue and the answer will always be, ‘No, Never’.

Gavoka says Fiji is a God-fearing nation. He says SODELPA recognizes that there are those that are born differently.

Gavoka says they are our brothers, cousins, nephews, nieces etc.; an important part of us and we shall, as always, cherish them, value them, and ensure they enjoy a fruitful life.

However he says same sex marriage is an abomination and as a Party and as Government, SODELPA will vigorously resist any attempt to bring same sex marriage into Fiji.
