Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Juventus beat Lyon 2-1 in their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 second leg match however it was not enough as Juventus went out on away goal rules.
Lyon had beaten Juventus 1-0 in their home game in February.
Trailing 1-0 in the match today, Ronaldo scored two goals to level the scores on aggregate.
It’s the first time since 2010 that Cristiano Ronaldo has failed to make it past the round of 16 in the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus scored for Manchester City as they beat Real Madrid 2-1 to qualify for the quarter-final.
Man City will now play Lyon in the quarter-final.
