The Fiji Roads Authority is advising members of the public living between Burewai and Lolomalevu settlement in Tailevu that there will be a full road closure of Dawasamu Road that will begin this Saturday until next Monday from 9am to 5pm.

The road closure will allow their contractors to carry out emergency culvert re-installment works.

The FRA says that due to the constraints of the site involving an extensive amount of earthworks to be carried out, the work is planned to last for 3 days.

They say for the safety of the public and road users, there will be no access to pedestrians and vehicles during the time.

FRA is advising members of the public to plan their travel accordingly.

For further queries, please call FRA on 5720.
