Rise Beyond the Reef has a diverse catalogue of artisan-made fashion accessories and home products now available on the world’s fastest-growing online shopping site Amazon.

Rise Beyond the Reef is a nonprofit organisation where 100 percent of the proceeds goes into supporting remote rural women and their communities.

They acknowledged the support of the Fiji Development Bank, the Ministry of Trade and Small and Medium Enterprises and donors who have made it possible for them to expand their craft on a digital platform.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Co-operatives, Small and Medium Enterprises and Communications, Manoa Kamikamica says e-commerce is an important strategy for any business and with Rise Beyond the Reef joining the league of over nine million sellers online, the small business will reinforce their global.

Kamikamica says the global reach is an encouragement for the great work already being undertaken to create a better world for women and children.

Fiji Development Bank CEO, Saud Minam says that rural communities especially women are producing goods that are of international market standards.

Minam says the bank is committed to encouraging resource-based sectors and small and medium enterprise sectors and will continue to bridge the resources gap by financially empowering women entrepreneurs.
