One of New Zealand’s most accomplished and celebrated rugby players, Richie Mo’unga, is set to return to his former club, the Crusaders, for the 2026 and 2027 Super Rugby seasons.

Renowned for his success both with the Crusaders and the All Blacks, Mo’unga boasts an impressive record that includes multiple Super Rugby titles and Rugby Championship victories.

He played a pivotal role in the Crusaders’ dominance, including their seventh consecutive title win in 2023 and over his time with the club, he made 109 appearances and amassed 1,230 points.

After a successful stint in Japan with Toshiba Brave Lupus, where he led the team to back-to-back Japan Rugby League One titles, Mo’unga will return to New Zealand rugby in 2027.

Mo’unga's international career with the All Blacks has also been exceptional, with Rugby Championship wins in 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.

He represented New Zealand at the 2019 and 2023 Rugby World Cups.
