The Rewa soccer team is through to the Punjas Battle of the Giants final after beating Ba 6-5 on penalties this afternoon.
Both teams were locked 2-2 at full time.
Ba started the match on a high and came close to scoring on several occasions but it was Rewa who took the lead through Josaia Sela.
Setareki Hughes doubled Rewa’s advantage a few minutes later as they led 2-0 at the break.
Narendra Rao pulled a goal back for Ba in the second half and a goal from Abbu Zahid in the 92nd minute took the game into extra time.
