Rewa continues dominance in DPL with 6-1 victory over Nadroga

Rewa maintains a tight grip on the top spot of the Digicel Premier League after thrashing Nadroga 6-1 at Ratu Cakobau Park.

The Delta Tigers remain unbeaten this season.

Iosefo Verevou scored the first goal for Rewa in the 11th minute and another about half an hour later. They led 2-0 at halftime.

Patrick Joseph scored in the 54th minute, and Tevita Waranaivalu scored two more in the 61st and 74th minutes, while veteran Setareki Hughes sealed the victory in the 90th minute.

In other matches this afternoon, Ba beat Lautoka 3-1, Navua beat Suva 5-2, Nasinu beat Tailevu Naitasiri 1-0 while Labasa had defeated Nadi 1-0 yesterday.
