Ba defeats Tailevu Naitasiri 2-0

The Rewa soccer team came from a goal down to beat Nadroga 2-1 in the Digicel Premier League at Ratu Cakobau Park this afternoon.

Waisea Tale gave Nadroga the lead in the first half as they led 1-0 at the break.

Rewa had the chance to equalize early in the second half but Tevita Waranivalu saw his penalty kick come off the bar.

The home side were then awarded another penalty after Setareki Hughes was fouled in the box which was converted by Patrick Joseph.

Abbu Zahid scored the winning goal for Rewa in the 81st minute.

In another match today, Ba beat Tailevu Naitasiri 2-1.

Malakai Tiwa and Ritik Prakash scored the goals for Ba.
