Rewa is fired up and ready to take down Ba in the grand final of the FMF Inter-District Championship this afternoon after their commanding 2–nil victory over Suva in their semi final at 4R Stadium, Govind Park.
Riding on that momentum, assistant coach Priyant Manu says the final will be a tough battle, especially after their thrilling 2–all draw with Ba in the group stage earlier in the week.
Manu says it will be a changed team, and their performance this afternoon will depend on how well they prepare.
He adds that the players have full faith and belief that they can end Rewa’s 15-year IDC title drought.
Rewa last lifted the prestigious IDC trophy in 2010. The Delta Tigers will take on Ba at 3pm at 4R Stadium, Govind Park.
