Reverend Semisi Turagavou is the newly appointed General Secretary of the Methodist Church in Fiji and Rotuma.
This was after the Church’s Standing Committee conducted a secret ballot election this afternoon to appoint two of its senior officials.
This post was previously held by the late Reverend Iliesa Naivalu.
Meanwhile, Reverend Anil Ruben has also been elected as the new Deputy General Secretary of the Church.
Reverend Ili Vunisuwai continues as President of the Methodist Church in Fiji.
