There are reports of flooding in the low lying areas of Kadavu.
Heavy rain from this morning has resulted in flooding of Lagalevu village, Nakasaleka in Kadavu.
A resident, Jessi O' Connor said they are now moving to higher grounds.
We have contacted DISMAC office and Director, Pajiliai Dobui said they are now contacting their officials in Kadavu.
Meanwhile, the whole of Viti levu, Kadavu, Yasawa, Mamanuca, Lomaiviti and Southern Lau groups can expect periods of rain, heavy at times this afternoon and tonight.
Duty forecaster at the Nadi Weather center, Amit Singh said there is possibility of flooding of low lying areas.
