The Rebels have dispatched the NSW Waratahs to an unprecedented winless Super Rugby AU season with a 36-25 victory despite coping two red cards.

Wallabies No.8 Isi Naisarani was sent off for a high tackle on Waratahs lock Max Douglas in the 19th minute while Pone Fa'amausili was shown a red card in the 76th minute of the game.

Naisarani was making his first appearance of the year following his off-season knee surgery.

The Rebels scored three tries from Matt Gibbon, Rob Leota and Michael Wells.

The Rebels led the Waratahs 21-18 at the break.

Mark Nawaqanitawase scored a try for the Waratahs but it was not enough to give them the win.

The Force will face the Brumbies in the qualifying final at 9.45pm next Saturday.

In the the Super Rugby Aotearoa, the Crusaders will face the Blues at 3.35pm today.
