Rawaqa names strong 26-member Drua Women squad for trial match against the Brumbies

The Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women Coach Ifereimi Rawaqa has named a strong 26-member travelling squad for their pre-season trial match against the Brumbies Women in Canberra this Saturday.

Rawaqa has also named 5 new players with the likes of Isabella Koi, Alfreda Fisher, Josivini Naihamu, Alowesi Nakoci and Imeri Nai to make their first appearance this weekend.

Meanwhile, two development players, Salaseini Railumu and Litiana Vueti, have also forced their way into the main squad.

In the front row, the loosehead props will feature Bitila Tawake and Loraini Senivutu.

Keleni Marawa and Koi will play hooker with Vika Matarugu, Tiana Robanakavu and Anasimeci Korovata at tighthead prop.

Asinate Serevi, Fuga Ofakimalino and Mereoni Nakesa are at locks, Nunia Daunimola will partner with Alfreda Fisher in the flanker position, while Karalaini Naisewa will wear the number 8 jersey.

The halfback features the likes of Kadavu duo Evivi Senikarivi and Kolora Lomani.

Salanieta Kinita, Luisa Tisolo and Setaita Railumu will play in the flyhalf position.

The midfield will see Josivini Naihamu and Alowesi Nakoci while returning Vitalina Naikore, and Merewairita Neivosa will manage the wings.

Repeka Tove and Imeri Nai will be at fullback.

The Drua Women’s will take on the Brumbies at 5pm Saturday in Canberra.
