Bristol Bears delivered a dazzling display to dispatch second-place Northampton Saints at a roaring Ashton Gate, scoring five unanswered first-half tries to secure a fourth Gallagher Premiership victory of the season and inflict a first league defeat of the campaign on the visitors.
Pat Lam’s men ran in six tries from Kieran Marmion Brace, Tom Jordan, Ravouvou, and Luka Ivanishvili, while fly half Sam Worsley landed seven kicks out of eight for a 16-point haul.
From the first whistle, the Bears seized control and dominated the entire game and only allowed the Saints to score 12 points.
