Flying Fijians explosive prop Peni Ravai will be making a potential debut off the bench for the Queensland Reds against Hurricanes in their 2023 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific round 1 clash tomorrow.

The 32-year-old prop was signed by the Reds this year after a two year stint with Clermont Rugby in the Top 14 competition in France, making 38 appearances for the club and scoring 20 points.

Ravai made history in the HSBC World Sevens series by being the only prop to have played 7s rugby for any international team after representing the Fiji Airways Fiji 7s team in the Las Vegas 7s in USA back in 2013.

Serupepeli Uru and Filipo Daugunu are also in the 23-match day squad.

Uru will be starting at locks while Daugunu will be starting on the wing.
