Police have defeated Army 2–0 to claim their 8th consecutive Ratu Sukuna Bowl Football Competition title at Subrail Park in Labasa this afternoon.

Sairusi Nalaubu and Akuila Mataisuva scored for the Police.

Police Manager Navin Sami says they are extremely proud of the players’ performance.

He says Army pushed them hard throughout the match, but Police remained confident from the outset that they would retain the title, and they delivered.

He adds that the team’s discipline and commitment were the key factors behind their continued success.

Army unfortunately could not break its losing drought, as they last won the title in 2018.
