Reaching the final for the Weet-Bix Raluve Competition for the first time is a blessing for the Ratu Latianara College Under-16 girls’ team, and the players are enjoying the journey throughout the season.

Head coach, Ratu Seru Kuriyalavou, told fijivillage Sports that one of the biggest challenges they face is the lack of training resources and they are thankful that the Vunivalu of Serua donated some gym equipment for the team.

Ratu Seru says the girls’ hard work during training, despite the limited resources, continues to motivate them to perform well on the field.

He is also urging parents and former students to support the team on Saturday, as their encouragement will help boost the players’ morale.
