The Ratu Filise 7s team are working on polishing their mistakes from the Fiji Rugby Union Super 7s Series last week as they prepare for the 45th Fiji Bitter Sapphire Marist 7s this week.

The management team says they have identified some key areas that contributed to their downfall in Savusavu such as decision making, attack and defence.

They say last week’s tournament is a learning platform for them and they will take the experience forward in the remaining 7s tournaments.

Some players that will feature for the TC Yasa/Ana 7s champions include Wame Ratuva, Sireli Daivalu, Kalaveti Cavukai and Ifereimi Tovilevu. Ratu Filise is pooled with Holy Cross, LAR Barbarians and Borderlines Blues.

Ratu Filise’s first match will be against Holy Cross at 8.35am Friday.

The 45th Fiji Bitter Sapphire Marist 7s will kick-off this Thursday with the under 21 and women's competition.

The men’s competition will begin on Friday.
