SODELPA MP, Simione Rasova

SODELPA MP, Simione Rasova has raised concern in parliament after he claimed that the Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama has been calling him FICAC since Monday, and yesterday he called him FICAC 5 years.

Rasova says the Prime Minister should respect the position that he holds, and respect the position of the Speaker of Parliament

He adds that parliament is fully entitled to take such measures it deems fit to maintain integrity and decorum and to take action for the breach of privilege or contempt of Parliament.

Rasova says it is the Speaker's responsibility to secure and maintain the honour and dignity of Parliament and the Prime Minister should refrain from that as today is his last day in Parliament.
