Rasaku and Uluinasau out of LA 7s due to ankle injury

Two of the key players for the Fiji Airways Fiji National 7s teams for this weekend's Los Angeles 7s will not be playing after suffering injuries.

Fiji Men's 7s rep Kaminieli Rasaku and Fijiana 7s rep Reapi Uluinasau are out of this weekend's tournament after both players suffered ankle injuries.

The Fiji Rugby Union says national 7s rep Filipe Sauturaga has flown in to LA to replace Rasaku while Fijiana 7s coach Saiasi Fuli has opted to make-do with the remaining 12 players he has for the tournament.

Meanwhile, the men's team will kick off their campaign against Great Britain at 2.54pm Saturday, they will then play Canada at 5.30am Sunday, and meet France at 10.22am Sunday in their final pool match.

The quarter finals will start at 3.26pm Sunday, the semi finals will begin at 10.08am Monday and the final will be held at 2.32pm Monday.

The Fijiana 7s side will meet Brazil at 1.14pm Saturday in their first pool match, they will then face South Africa at 8.26am Sunday and take on New Zealand at 1.24pm Sunday in their last pool match.

The women's quarter finals will start at 6.14am Monday, the semi finals will begin at 9.24am Monday and the final will be held at 1.43pm Monday.
