The Rarawai Sugar Mill is expected to be operational by the first week of December following the fire incident last month.
Minister for Sugar Industry, Charan Jeath Singh says investigations are still underway, and they are yet to determine the cause of the fire.
While responding to a query from a concerned resident during the Tavua Town Hall meeting organised by the Fijian Media Association, Singh says that the National Fire Authority and the insurance companies are yet to submit their reports.
