Raliwalala impresses as Police thrash Savusavu 39-0

Adi Ana Raliwalala put on an impressive performance to help defending champion Police beat Savusavu 39-0 and secure their first win in the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s women’s competition

Raliwalala says it was always her dream to represent Fiji on the world stage ever since she had started playing rugby six years ago while being a student at Immaculate Conception College in Bua.

The 23-year-old kicked three conversions in the first half and displayed speed and fancy footwork to beat four defenders and score a try in the second half.

Other tries came from Fijiana reps Laisana Likuceva who scored two tries and Verenaisi Bari.

In other women's results, Seahawks thrashed Saint Teresa 52-0

In the Under 21 category; Ravuka Sharks beat Vuda Kings 20-0, Cautata Eagles beat Western Marine 19-5, Dominion Brothers beat Namuaniwaqa 30-0, Service Labasa beat Cloud Break Brothers 12-7, Navakawau beat Belovula 19-0, Navatuvula beat Sseekadah 22-7 and Ba River beat Waqadra Brothers 14-0.
