The Raiwasa Taveuni 7s team will be looking to their senior players to provide the needed guidance as they aim to improve their standings in the Fun Flavour Super 7s Series this week.

Raiwasa is currently in 8th place after losing to LAR Barbarians 19-17 in the first leg in Sigatoka earlier this month.

Team Manager Seba Vulakoro says the inclusion of four players from the Fiji 7’s extended squad will boost the morale of their players.

Vulakoro says these players are Jeremaia Matana, Iowane Teba, Iowane Ratuciri and Daniele Yaya.

He says they will also rely on teamwork and game structure which they have been working on for some time now.

Raiwasa Taveuni is in Pool D with Ratu Filise, Devo Babaas and Island Magic Stallions.

The second leg of the Super 7s Series will be held on Friday and Saturday at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
