Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro

As we celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna today, Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro says his wisdom, as shared in the Bhagvad Gita, reminds us to fulfill our duties with sincerity, to face challenges with courage, and to remain steadfast in the pursuit of what is right.

While wishing students, teachers, parents, and members of the beloved Hindu community, Radrodro says today, we come together to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna, whose life and teachings continue to inspire generations with the eternal values of truth, righteousness, compassion, and devotion.

He says his message of selfless action is especially relevant in our schools and communities, encouraging us to work with dedication, humility, and a spirit of service.

While addressing the students, he says may this day inspire them to seek knowledge with curiosity, to respect their elders, and to live with kindness and integrity.

He says may Lord Krishna’s life remind teachers of the profound role they play in shaping minds and hearts.

The Minister says let us use this occasion to strengthen bonds of unity, peace, and harmony across our multicultural and multi-faith nation.

Radrodro says on the same note, as we celebrate this joyous event through prayers and religious discourses, we must also reflect on how we can apply Lord Krishna’s timeless values to build a better and more compassionate Fiji.

He adds may the blessings of Lord Krishna guide us towards wisdom, righteousness, and lasting happiness.
