Minister of Education Aseri Radrodro

Minister of Education Aseri Radrodro is advising all Head of Schools in Fiji on their responsibilities in assisting parents with the Back to School Support Assistance initiated by the Government.

The Minister highlighted this after responding to questions sent by fijivillage News as we have been receiving calls from parents who were being turned away from Heads of Schools to get their forms signed.

Radrodro says the Heads of Schools were advised in a circular sent on the 10th of this month, of their responsibilities and to assist parents with the initiative.

He says it is written in the forms that the School Principal/Head Teacher and Education Officer can sign the assistance form.

He adds the Ministry is concerned when parents are turned away from school and it's the Heads of Schools' job to assist the parents that are coming to their schools.

Radrodro is also urging Heads Of Schools to assist parents who are struggling to fill out their forms.
