Radio Sargam’s Mother’s Day Competition with Drypers - “Ma Ke Kadmo Pe” winner Shobha Sharma says she will be sharing her hamper with her neighbours who have been affected by COVID-19.

She says there are three children in her neighbourhood who she is assisting by providing them with studying materials such as books, stationary and school bags.

Sharma adds that she is excited to have won the competition as she had taken part in competitions before but this is the first time that she has won.

To enter the competition, mothers had to send a message about a rule that their mothers used to follow that they are now following in their own household.

Sharma says her mother hated it when someone would cross in front of her when she used to sweep or mop her house and now she absolutely despises it when someone crosses in front of her when she sweeps or mops her home.

The mother of two says she had plans to go to the Western Division to visit her family but will not be going because of COVID-19.

Meanwhile, Vinu Reddy from Tamavua has won the Meri Pyari Mummy Competition with Orchid.

He had posted a photo with her mother on the Radio Sargam page.

Asaleo Care CEO Eldon Eastgate says at a time in Fiji where it can be doom and gloom the competition has put smiles on some mothers’ faces as they are the pillars of the nation.
