The race for a top-four finish and a place at Paris 2024 is heating up in the Men’s 7s Series as the teams get ready for the Sydney 7s.

The top four finishers in both the men’s and women’s standings at the end of the 2023 Series will secure their tickets to the 2024 Olympic Games.

The Fiji Men’s side who are the defending champions of the Olympic 7s title are currently 8th on the points standings after the Hamilton 7s.

With 7 tournaments left including the Sydney 7s, the Fiji side will have to improve on their performances if they are to get into the top four.

Fiji is in pool D alongside France, Tonga and Japan.

The Sydney 7s will start on Friday.
