Acting Prime Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum and People’s Alliance Leader Sitiveni Rabuka.

Acting Prime Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says comments by People’s Alliance Leader Sitiveni Rabuka about the Prime Minister’s health is extremely unFijian and lacks decorum and finesse.

He says comments by Rabuka are very distasteful and it shows the lack of respect for an individual’s privacy when they are going through a medical procedure.

Sayed-Khaiyum adds Rabuka is trying to stay relevant.

People’s Alliance Party Leader and former Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka says it is his responsibility as a person aspiring to be the next Prime Minister of this country to be able to comment on issues affecting the nation.

Rabuka says it is only right that he comments on issues that affect the people.

He adds he is calling on Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum to apologize to the people of the country for keeping them in the dark about the Prime Minister’s health and recovery until questions were asked.

Rabuka says this has resulted in unnecessary confusion.
