The Rabbitohs scored their most ever points against the Sea Eagles in a 56-16 thrashing in the NRL match last night to make it four wins in a row.

They racked up their greatest half-time lead in 112 years of rugby league history.

A blistering six-try performance in the first half set up a remarkable 38-0 scoreline.

Latrell Mitchell had a masterclass for the Rabbitohs finishing with a linebreak, three linebreak assists, three try assists and two tries in complete performance.

Adam Reynolds was also also put on a show for the Rabbitohs kicking nine goals from as many attempts with most of them from the sidelines.

Three tries to the Sea Eagles halted the Rabbitohs' dominance momentarily in the second half but a further four tries confirmed their biggest loss since 2005.

In other NRL games last night, the Raiders beat the Titans 36-16 while the Roosters outclassed the Wests Tigers 38-16.

In the matches today, the Warriors will play the Bulldogs at 4pm while the Knights will take on the Cowboys at 6.05pm.
