RKSOB defeats QVSOB 40-36 to claim Sovanivalu Shield

The Ratu Kadavulevu School Old Boys rugby side has won the Sovanivalu Shield Challenge after defeating Queen Victoria School Old Boys 40-36 this afternoon at Albert Park, Suva.

It was an electric game that went down to the wire and had the crowd on the edge of their seats.

RKS led 25-15 at halftime.

Fiji Airways Men's National 7s reps Terio Tamani and Pilipo Bukayaro showed their class today to help RKS win the coveted title.

Tamani scored two tries while Bukayaro scored one try.

Some notable names that played today include Manueli Ratuniyarawa, Simione Kuruvoli, Kini Douglas and Kini Murimurivalu who lined up for QVSOB while RKSOB had the services of Joe Veitayaki, Josese Batirerega, Terio Tamani, Pilipo Bukayaro and Saiusa Siqila.
