RFMF honours Ratu Naiqama on 71st birthday with ceremonial celebration

In an early surprise this morning, senior officers of the disciplined forces, extended birthday wishes to the Head of State and Commander-in-Chief, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu, who is celebrating his 71st birthday.

They were led by the Commander of the Fiji Navy Humphrey Tawake on behalf of the Commander of the Republic of the Fiji Military Forces who is currently on official leave.

Members of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces gathered at the State House to add a ceremonial and heartfelt touch to the joyous occasion.

While addressing the RFMF members, Ratu Naiqama expressed his profound gratitude for their dedication to upholding law and order.

He reminded them of the importance of unity and shared responsibility.

He says that the strength of the nation lies in collective efforts and noted that, since assuming office, he has witnessed the vital role they play in ensuring peace and stability.

He urged every Fijian to work together, guided by service, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to the people of Fiji.

Ratu Naiqama was joined by his wife and close family, making the celebration a truly memorable event.
