RFMF Land Force Commander, Colonel Onisivoro Covunisaqa has been visiting soldiers deployed in the Nausori and Tailevu North containment zones.
Colonel Covunisaqa visited the soldiers based at the Nausori Primary School Forward Operating Base manning the Nausori Zone.
Last Friday, Colonel Covunisaqa was at the Sawani border and the Vunidawa Government Station in Naitasiri.
The Naitasiri team is being led by Lieutenant Viliame Rigamoto from the RFMF Engineers.
During his tour, Colonel Covunisaqa reminded the soldiers to keep in mind that the cyclone season is approaching and also thanked them for their sacrifice.
Colonel Covunisaqa has also visited the Emergency Operation Centres and Forward Operating Bases in Suva and Navua.
