For the first time ever, the Nataleira 7s Youth tournament that will be held from the 23rd to the 25th of this month will have a sponsor.

RC Manubhai has stepped in to sponsor this grassroots competition, signing their agreement today at their office in Raiwai.

32 men’s and 16 women’s teams will be playing in this tournament.

Nataleira Youth President Vuniani Dakuwaqa says $3,000 will be the prize money for the men’s winner and $2,000 for the women’s winner.

Dakuwaqa says the main purpose of this tournament is to raise funds for the completion of their church which was destroyed during Cyclone Winston.

The tournament will be held at the Nataleira Village ground in Tailevu.
