RC Manubhai Nataleira Rugby 7s Tournament set for this weekend

16 top teams, 32 regular teams, 16 women's teams, and 16 U9 teams will participate in the RC Manubhai Nataleira Rugby 7s tournament that will be held tomorrow and Saturday at the Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori.

The 16 top-tier teams will compete for the main prize of $5,000, with the runners-up receiving $3,000.

These top teams are Kombat Uluinakau, Namara Boars, Brothers Club, Bureta Young Boys, Taikita Brothers, Wardens Gold, Army FTG, BLK Lavidi Brothers, Dominion Brothers, Supercool Vatukoro, Viwa Rugby, Postshop Tabadamu, Nahehevia and Y-IS Kava Vacalea Kadavu.

Meanwhile, the 32 Tier-2 regular teams will battle for the $3,000 prize in the men's tournament and $1,599.

In the tier-3 competition, 16 women's teams will vie for $2,000, while 16 U19 teams in tier-1 will compete for the $1,000 prize.

Tournament organizers have announced that only a few spots remain, with registration closing today at 5pm.
