Qiliho expected to be the first Fijian to study at the Royal College of Defence Studies in London

Police Commissioner, Sitiveni Qiliho is expected to go to the United Kingdom for a year after being offered a study placement at the Royal College of Defence Studies in London.

Minister for Defence, Inia Seruiratu confirms that the government does not want to waste this opportunity as Qiliho would be the first Fijian to study at the top college in the world.

The Royal College of Defence Studies instructs the most promising senior officers of the British Armed Forces, her Majesty’s Diplomatic Service and Civil Service in national defence and international security matters at the highest level, to prepare them for the top posts in their respective services.

It forms part of the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom, and is its most senior and prestigious component.

There are overseas attendees these days, who are close allies to the United Kingdom government.

Fijivillage has received information that Deputy Police Commissioner, ACP Rusiate Tudravu is expected to be the Acting Police Commissioner.
