QVS book final showdown against RKS in U18 Eastern Zone after 24-13 win over Lelean

Queen Victoria School is one win away from defending their Under-18 Vodafone Eastern Zone Secondary School Rugby title after defeating Lelean Memorial School 24–13 at Nukuvuto Grounds in Tailevu this afternoon.

QVS showed their dominance in the first half, leading Lelean 10–5 at the break.

The win has seen them book a final showdown against old rival Ratu Kadavulevu School, which thrashed Tailevu North College 45-18 today.

In other semi final results, QVS demolish Saint Vincent College 62-0 and RKS edged Lelean 15-13 in the U14 grade, QVS beat Lelean 15-7 and RKS demolished Bau College 69-0 in the U15 grade, and RKS beat Tailevu North 36-15 in the U16 grade, QVS defeated RKS 27-10 and Tailevu North upset Lelean 12-8 in the U19 grade.

In the Weet-Bix Raluve semi finals, St Vincent defeated Lelean 15-12, and Adi Cakobau School beat Dawasamu Secondary School 17-5 in the U16 grade, Muaniweni College beat Sila Central 15-12 and ACS defeated Dawasamu Secondary 22-0.


QVS to face RKS in U15 Eastern Zone Secondary School final

Queen Victoria School will take on Ratu Kadavulevu School in the final of U15 Vodafone Eastern Zone Secondary School final after winning their respective semi final matches this morning.

QVS beat Lelean 15-7 and RKS demolished Bau College 69-0.

Meanwhile, QVS will also take on RKS in the U14 final.

QVS demolish Saint Vincent College 62-0 and RKS edged Lelean Memorial School 15-13.

Looking at other semi final matches, QVS will meet Sila Central High School and RKS will face Tailevu North College in the U16 grade, RKS will take on Sila Central and QVS will meet Lelean in the U17 grade, RKS will face QVS and Tailevu North will meet Lelean in the U19 grade, RKS will face Tailevu North and Lelean will take on QVS in the U18 grade.

In the Weet-Bix Raluve semi finals, St Vincent will face ACS in the U16 grade.

St Vincent defeated Lelean 15-12, and Adi Cakobau School beat Dawasamu Secondary School 17-5.

In the U18 grade, ACS will face Dawasamu Secondary and Sila Central will meet Muaniweni College.
