QVS U18 to battle St John’s College in Ovalau this week

2024 Vodafone Super Deans champions QVS will be travelling to Ovalau this weekend to take on St John's College in round 4 of the Eastern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby competition.

QVS will be hoping to put on points against St John’s to ensure their place in the top 3 from the Eastern Zone that goes through to the national finals this season.

The boys from Matavatucou have only lost one match this season against rivals Ratu Kadavulevu School 35-13 in round 1 at Nukuvuto Grounds in Tailevu.

They came back firing in round 2 where they demolished Nakasi High School 40-3 and they defeated Lelean Memorial School 12-0 last Saturday at Burebasaga Grounds in Rewa.

QVS will take on St John’s College at 11am at Nasau Park.

In another U18 match, Nakasi High School will take on Tailevu North College at 2.20pm at Burebasaga Grounds.
