QVS U18 retains Vodafone Eastern Zone title, claims Lutubula Trophy with 25-22 win over RKS

Queen Victoria School’s Under 18 team has successfully defended their Vodafone Eastern Zone title and lifted the prestigious Lutubula Trophy after a hard-fought 25-22 victory over Ratu Kadavulevu School this afternoon.

QVS also received a $2,000 cash reward from the Lutubula family in recognition of their performance.

RKS led 12-10 lead at halftime but QVS came strong in the second half to seal the win.

QVS fly-half Isikeli Bari was named Player of the Match.

In other results, the QVS Under 16 team secured a spot in the Vodafone Super Deans quarter finals after edging RKS 13-10, the QVS Under 14 team thrashed RKS 15-0 while the RKS Under 15 team beat QVS 19-7.
