Pumas must improve attack against All Blacks after successive shutouts - coach Mario Ledesma

Argentina has failed to score a point in their last two meetings with the All Blacks and coach Mario Ledesma wants his side to take better care of the ball when they attack the Rugby Championship leaders in Brisbane tonight.

The Pumas were thrashed by New Zealand 39-0 last Sunday after losing their previous meeting 38-0 in the southern hemisphere championship last year.

Ledesma says despite the score-lines, the onus was on his team to improve their attacking play.

He says their defence did really well, however, the problem with defending all the time against the All Blacks is that they are going to score, so it's more on the attack side of things.

He adds this has been their focus this week.

Argentina will meet the All Blacks at 10.05 tonight while the Wallabies face the Springboks at 7.05pm today.
