A proposed development aims to transform Keiyasi into a thriving urban centre that aims to connect Fijians in the region to services — creating economic opportunities within the Nadroga/Navosa area.

It stems from the greater vision of the Fijian Government to bridge the urban-rural divide so that communities in the interior areas of Fiji like Keiyasi, can benefit from our national development.

The projected timeline for civil works is approximately 24 months before building works commence.

Last week, the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, Tourism, and Transport visited the proposed Keiyasi New Town Centre with the Ministry of Economy, engineering consultants, WesEng Consultancy Pte Ltd, and ten prospective civil works contractors.
