A prominent Lautoka businessman staying in Denarau has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs and will be produced at the Nadi Magistrates Court this afternoon.
His home was raid last Friday afternoon which resulted in the discovery of white substances and dried leaves believed to be illicit substances.
Police say the forensic analysis conducted on the white substances have tested negative for illicit drugs.
However they say an analysis conducted on the dried leaves has returned positive for marijuana.
